1. 1.（被告人を）法廷に出し、罪状を問う動C1 Advanced

   • The suspect was arraigned on charges of fraud.

     その容疑者は詐欺の罪で起訴された。

   • He will be arraigned before the judge next week.

     彼は来週、裁判官の前に出廷し、罪状を問われるだろう。

   • The court decided to arraign the politician for corruption.

     裁判所は、その政治家を汚職で訴追することを決定した。

2. 2.（正式に）召喚する、出廷させる動C1 Advanced

   • The suspect was arraigned on charges of fraud.

     裁判所は来週、被告人を召喚する予定だ。

   • He was finally arraigned for his alleged crimes.
