   • I like to lie on the sofa and read a book.

     私はソファに横になって本を読むのが好きです。

   • The cat is lying in the sun.

     猫が日なたで寝そべっている。

     彼は疲れていたのでベッドに横になった。

   • The book lies on the table.

     本がテーブルの上にある。

   • My keys lie somewhere in this room.

     私の鍵はこの部屋のどこかにある。

   • The village lies in a valley.

     その村は谷間にある。

3. 3.嘘をつく動A1 Beginner

   • He told a lie about his age.

     彼は年齢について嘘をついた。

   • Don't lie to your parents.

     両親に嘘をついてはいけません。

   • She lied about where she was going.

     彼女はどこへ行くかについて嘘をついた。
